Summer Enrichment
This is a leadership development week held at ASU June 5-11. Students live on campus in dorms, attend workshops, become involved in a community service project, and attend recreational activities. The Summer Leaders Experience (SLE) application is open for high school juniors. SLE is highly competitive - there are normally 6,000 applicants and 1,000 attendees. SLE gives high school juniors a week to experience life as a cadet to inform their college selection decision. SLE is a fast-paced program of academic classes, military training, physical fitness training and intramural athletics conducted during the month of June each year. You must have standardized test scores to be considered for SLE.

ASU-Joaquin Bustoz Math-Science Honors Program Scholarship

ASU pays all expenses for a 6 or 8 week summer session for university-level mathematics courses for college credit. Students will reside on the ASU Tempe campus. This opportunity is for mature Junior students. Eighty students are selected by ASU to participate in the Summer 2016 program. Deadline to apply: Feb. 26, 2016

The United States Naval Academy Summer Seminar is a fast-paced, six-day experience for high achievers who have completed their junior year in high school. Summer Seminar teaches you about life at the Naval Academy, where academics, athletics, and professional training play equally important roles in developing our nation's leaders. If you think that you may be interested in pursuing an appointment to one of the nation's service academies and serving your country as an officer, you should seriously consider attending the Naval Academy's Summer Seminar.
Summer Scrubs (formerly Med-Start Phoenix) is a summer program organized by the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. This program is designed to encourage and inspire Arizona high school students to explore their existing interest in health care professions. Each Summer Scrubs session includes hands-on activities, field trips, simulation and related lab experiences and lectures from medical students, faculty and community members. Summer Engineering Academy is a week-long residential camp held on the The University of Arizona campus. Session I is open to students who will enter grades 9 and 10 in the upcoming fall. Sessions II and III are open to students in grades 11 and 12
Ag Discovery ia an outreach program to help teenagers learn about careers in plant and animal science and wildlife management. The program allows students to live on a college campus and learn about agriculture from university professors and scientists who work for the U.S. government in a variety of fields.
These programs are great opportunities to network with professionals, academics and other students, socialize with students from across the region, see new places, gain knowledge and experience regarding college and careers, and even get college and high school credits (depending on program and courses taken). Remember, each program has different eligibility requirements, costs, program dates, application deadlines and capacities so check them out early enough to ensure you have adequate time to apply.

The Summer Health Institute @ ASU is for students who are currently in the 11th grade that have indicated an interest in health/health care and ASU. SHI is for students who will be in 12th grade next year/plan to graduate May or June 2016.
